Dr. Ludena is a prominent agricultural economist with PhD and Masters from Purdue University, USA. Having long track of experience, Dr. Ludena has developed working expertise in the field of Climate Finance, Project Development, Economic and Financial Analysis, Agriculture, Natural Resources, Energy, International Trade. For last fourteen years he is serving in different capacity under various international and national development organizations namely FAO, ADB, UNICEF, UNDP, GEF, IADB etc.

'Carlos has worked in project development and technical assistance in more than 40 projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia, Pacific, Sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa and the Near East, supporting governments and organizations, including development banks (The World Bank, The Inter-American Development Bank, the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF)), UN agencies (FAO, UNDP, UNICEF, WFP), and research institutions (CIAT, ALADI, IICA). He has developed and coordinated more than 70 publications in areas of agriculture, natural resources, climate change and environment.
