In internet and intranet sectors: At the time of evolution of Bangladesh internet (1996-2002), Salim Rahman has established an Internet Service Provider (ISP) Company “SPARK SYSTEMS LIMITED” in the year of 1999 in Bangladesh. SPARK has experienced in almost all the internet service providing way: •  1996-2002 Dial Up Internet •  2000 First HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coaxial) Deployed in Dhaka •  2001-2005 DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) Service •  2005 SANOG IV •  2002-2008 Cybercafé and Ethernet based local provider mushroomed •  2004 BDIX (Bangladesh Internet Exchange Trust) starts •  2005-Continuing “Optical Fiber” based Connectivity.

B. In software development: In 2010, Salim Rahman established a software development company QUICKMAS TECHNOLOGIES (Quickmas), an ERP solution providing company to promote and develop ERP system for retail enterprises. A good number of professional accountants, software engineers are functioning at Quickmas R&D. Quickmas ERP system is a user friendly system which is further expanded and applied on the daily operation in its clients’ in managing their sales, distribution, accounting and production processes. Having long experience in ERP system development, Quickmashas established itself as a trusted provider in the field in greater perspective addressing the needs of the rapidly growing retail market.
